Sophocles vs. Euripedes (With Examples)
Standard Sophistry, and the Euripidean Variance
Sophocles, was the pinnacle of the innocence of the ancient Greeks, and through his writing, we see the end of that innocence, and the downfall into Christian scholasticism; Euripedes, was the last cry of this innocent age, coming after, to save legends so those practicing science could judge from preserved history, the oldest works of government, through inference and the sciences.
Sophocles, features the sexual scandals of the wealthy, the ruling classes among tyrants, explained to the common man and woman, so we could see what created greatness, the pain and arduous sacrifice of a leader in their personal lives. This begins the downfall of our common society, where the Christians, exposed the poverty to the same sexual situations and scandals, attempting to train them to be great men. Gods, legends, monsters, never figured into Sophocles' work, only the basic demonstration of the flaws that create greatness.
Euripides, meanwhile, took two ancient pieces, to preserve the Gods and the Deities and the Monsters and Magic, so it could be passed down to those understanding government from being educated and serious, without any of the petty shallowness of the bickering and the leverage of those now rendered inept by the sciences encouraged by Euripedes.
He would take two legends, altering both, and let the consciences of his theater companies, pick the illegal class, the hero attacking the villain, the rapist soldier in the bunk, versus the villain attacking the hero, the preferred role in the military. For instance, we could take Karate Kid, the New Jersey mob hit to undo Gaijin, a rape novel of racial bigotry, and place him as a police officer, a jurisdiction of paperwork, with universal stamp despite badge origin, and then take Good Will Hunting, an impoverished actor theater traitor in film with a job for the NSA accepted to become a psychiatric intelligence agent, and decide, which of these is gay; is it an expulsion, for being a cop that spies, or is an expulsion, for being a spy that practices arrest. Is it illegal, to call in a mob hit, or is it illegal, to practice psychiatric restraint. Which one, is Batman, the emulating individual, actually the Joker, as depicted in the same theme, however the Joker, is clear to move, unless claiming moral high ground. Is David Masouz, the banned role in theater and film, a cop with the mob, or a spy with the psychiatrists.
Let's look at a better one. Julius Caesar, was a High Priest of Jupiter, the advisors of politicians, before the Pontifex's office, the general staff in Gaul and England, and then the Senate.
Three rules for the Jupiter's office, were that he couldn't leave the city for more than two or three days, he couldn't look at the Roman Army, and he couldn't ride a horse. That means, he had to be away from the farm, he couldn't have the respect of soldier, and he had to be gay, without erection his entire life. No poverty, no fraternity, and no sex, in any advice of politics, to the nobility of Rome and the Senate, his future office.
So did Caesar, get an erection, in the Senate, proving he was heterosexual, yet had told the government how to align media, and select roles for the future of the Empire?
I believe that's up to your consciences, men and women of science and Socrates.
